We
are planning to hold a Ruskin Reunion on Saturday, 5th September 2009.
Everyone who was a pupil, a teacher or a helper at the school is welcome,
		together with partners.
The Shirley Windmill will also be open that day for both guided
tours and sale of souvenirs by Martin Nunn, a former
Geography and RI teacher. Roll up, roll up.
The plan is to meet at The Surprise pub's function room,
adjacent to the Upper Shirley Road site. A finger-food buffet with a hot
dish is available for about £6 per head plus £2 contribution towards the
hire of the room, name badges, etc. Times await confirmation.
So that we can gauge the response, it would be greatly appreciated
if you could indicate whether you will be likely to attend and how many
there might be in your party. That way we will have a head count for the
		Windmill Tour and buffet lunch.
We realise that the planned event is some months away, but by
gauging reaction early, we can secure a group price of the tour and
meeting rooms. Hope that you understand!
Please look out and bring along any old photographs and other
memorabilia that you might have. We will arrange a small display. Please
let us know what you will be bringing; details will be available later
regarding how to forward such treasure trove.
Please contact any other ex-Ruskin pupils and teachers whom you know
or can locate, even if they are not logged into The Mill website.
Can respondents please send your email to
		reunion@mel-lambert.com.
If your contacts don't have an email address, can we use yours and let
them remain in contact via telephone?
We will contact everyone individually via email with notification of
		the final details.
