JRGS Old Boys from the Early Sixties meet
at Robert Lisney's recent wedding
From left-to-right: Geoff
Nicholson, Robert Lisney, Ken Howes and John
Matthews.
Geoff is a retired head teacher who has travelled a lot recently
and done some interesting overseas work. He is currently touring with
the Northcott theatre studio, acting in some short plays, one of which
he wrote. He now lives in Devon.
Ken is sort of retired after a very influential career in the
banking world associated with plastic money and its development and,
despite having allegedly retired, still seems to be in demand for
consultancy in the field.
John retired some years ago and is happy doing a range of voluntary
work with Surrey County Services looking after the green environment and
their sheep/goats, etc.
"This was the first time al four of us had met up, we reckoned, for
over 30 years," Robert writes, "although Ken John and I, being nearer,
have regularly done so.
"So you can imagine the conversation that evening - it covered most
of that era's personalities, teachers and colleagues."
